The election period for the next season has started again.

I wanted to qualify New Zealand to the WC groups but i guess we are too small for this. We managed to beat Nederland , which is quite a force in sokker, but unfortunately we got only a 3`rd place in the group.

In the new season, NZ will play only friendlies as we didn`t qualify , so i would like to use a younger generation, 6-7 players u25 every match, so they will receive a bonus in training.My aim is to win as many games possible in this conditions , and keep us in the 3`rd pot for the next qualifications.

i have completed the schedule for this season...beginning with week 3, NZ will play in the Mini World Cup... i hope to repeat the performance made 4 seasons ago, when we played the semifinal and later, for the 3`rd place against Australia

I would like to thank all of you for supporting me in all these seasons, and re-electing me several seasons in a row for the position of manager :)
But now i must step back and let others, maybe better managers or more inspired, to take this job and try what i couldn`t do, and that would be qualifying you to the World Cup after a lot of seasons, too much in my oppinion.

We curently have a very promising generation, a lot of young players are playing in the first team, so in a few seasons, my goal could be reached.

My friend and advisor, batman, will try to countinue this job by running for the postion of NT manager, and to be frankly, he will definitly do better than i did if he wins this :)
He has always gave me good advices and i`m sure he will do great considering his experience in this game.

I will continue my job as a scouter for both u21 and NT, if both managers agree, and also buy promising prospects, of course if the owner lists them :)
