Can someone explain why I dont get training this week? Is it because I changed tactics? I got this message in my office.
During the training session the players were a bit absent-minded. They will not receive training this week..
Thanks

your last trAINing, you had FOUR attackers. This is not allowed.
You're right bbalmaster2. 4 ATT aren't allowed.
From the Sokkerhelp:
How does the training & tactical positioning work?
Many training regimes are set to train a specific group of players. So training striker will always train players set as ATT within the game. Similarly, training keeper will always train players set as GK. It is not worth re-setting the positioning / training regime to DEF, for example to get away with training 10 keepers a week, instead of 2. It simply will make no difference. However, some training regimes - passing, defending and technique allow you to choose which training regime gains training.
Why is this important?
Well, imagine if you are a defender trainer, and you decide you want to train technique for a while, you can swap to technique and set DEF and your defenders will still get training. Or, imagine that you are a striker trainer, who wants to train technique. Again, you can change to ATT and then your strikers get training.
Hold on? But I can only train 6 players in ATT a week, versus 10 at MID. Why would I want to train technique to ATT. Isn't that unfair?
Yes and no. Yes, you can only train 6 ATT players a week - 3 from each game, so yes, you'd be better off training technique as MID or DEF as you can train 10. So, if you are a striker trainer, you can set your 6 striker trainees as MID, and another 4 midfielders as MID and then train technique-MID and get full value. What's the snag? Well setting players as GK,DEF,MID and ATT changes how they play! So a striker set to MID will pass rather than shoot......
Explain setting players to un-natural training types, the match engine and the meaning of life again?
OK. In the game tactics engine, you set a player to play in a certain position. i.e. your player number 10 can be positioned to play up-front for your team, maybe he's a goal-hanger like Klinsmann or Lineker. Now, you can set him to play as GK, DEF, MID or ATT. This setting affects how he plays i.e. a DEF will try and tackle players, and will pass quickly. The same player set to MID will try to dribble the ball, and also pass the ball. Now setting the player to ATT will make them want to shoot at goal at any attempt. So naturally your Klinsmann will normally be set to play as ATT. However as mentioned above, as well as setting how he plays the DEF/MID/ATT sets who gets trained. Assuming you've set no more than 1 GK, 5 DEF, 5 MID and 3 ATT in the game, you'll get training. So setting Klinsmann to MID can be used if you are training technique etc. However he'll shoot at goal rarely....
