BUT OH MY GOD!!

what a match!! mostly dominated by Australia imho, but a combination of good defending by us and Australia's forwards bumbling the opportunities they had (esp the 70th minute) we won :)

it was GREAT to see the goal by Bodger which was the match winner, and he got a new record rating of 65 :D beautiful head

Great to bball too! your tactics are giving us our best ever season! who would've thought we would win against Australia?!

Also thanks to Sam Pritchett (my ex player) who made the sublime pass.. I think he's on unearthly playmaking. Of course Bodger :) our hero finished with a superb header. Add him to the highest ratings Barhilo ;) I think 65 will be a record!

1 game down... it makes things more relaxing for me.. we just need one more game to win. I can confidently say that we won that match tactical wise. Australia has much better players than us. I'm happy my tactical skills are improving.

Australia made a good choice by playing with wingers. They know we have narrow defence... however it's useless because they have really crap passing as you can see ;) If they had Sam pritchett we might face some problems. I thought it was a good tactic by Australia too. :)

Newhill's an awesome striker stats-wise, but he hasn't enough technique to get past your top defenders.

And the wrong winger got injured, Veart's a gun, could've and would've changed the match around for us. North is just our only other winger.

Also, the AM we played was an experiment, and it can be safely said that it failed. I'll be backing one of my better midfielders for the role next week, let's see how he does.

Not making excuses really, just hoping to be serious and clean it up in the next two weeks.

Good game and good penalty. I have to complain about the defense tough, sometimes it looked as if they stood still...I think Matthew Alves did a good game but he should never let that 1:2-goal in!! =(

Great match. First game in a long time I've actually enjoyed watching.

Hird is a brute, both his goals were ridiculously awesome. The first one was purely down to Ando's weak form, though.

But I do think you lack middies, North, Veart and Timpano took the game away from you guys.

I'm pretty certain Hird is the best striker outside of Poland :).
