What's up with these stupid skill drops in the school anyway? Was there a new 'feature' introduced that I don't know about? -.-

Is it just saying that the actual level does not change, i.e. when he first appears, based on the youth coach then his skills when he can be pulled will be x, and even if it drops one week, will still end at x? If so, what if you change coach?

Basically the actual level (not the one displayed) won't change and will operate as before, so if he was meant to have talent 4 coming out formidable, it will still be exactly that, but now the junior coach can't accurately pinpoint that down, so takes guesses each week based on how he assessed the player. Thus by a player playing in the junior game it gives better feedback. In saying that though the coach can be out, so what may have been a formidable might be shown to be very good, or incredible for example.

In short, makes talent from youth school almost impossible to accurately predict. There are ways of getting estimations of the talent but it's highly dependant on a number of weeks of data for any reasonable accuracy.
