Not that easy. But there is no extreme favourite in this group. Croatia of course and Sweden, but not impossible. What do you say, sara?

two injured strikers missing this night for our first match. so l had to change a lot to keep a strong offensive.
when the going gets tough, the tough get going. of course our team must win this match.

we have a better keeper now, who will make his first match today. there is not much room left between him and the posts. so l am confident, from now on the opponents will not strike very often.

We have not many players, so form is very important for our team to have a chance to win.
It cannot be ruled out, that New Zealand U 21 makes some points against one of the other 4 teams in our group. If all strikers are on board and in good form, they are above average of the "little" sokker nations.

Thanks to all managers from New Zealand and the rest of the world, who sent me informations about the players. there´s still a bunch missing, from whom l still don´t know much. if it becomes obvious, that one of them gets training, it will be the most important job to find out, how they improve.

today we should just wait and see what happens in the first match. I will watch it live, cause its 4 o`clock in the afternoon here then. so sleep well this night and dream of a 5-0...maybe it becomes true ;-)

thanks. it was harder than l expected.
newbie mason as the winner after 2 minutes was really nice.
but then the iranian defence showed, why their opponents need a lot of shots to score.
biggest surprise for me were the many offsides. their tactic is more tricky as it looks at first sight.

Still no votes for you sara? I can't believe it. You made a lot of really strong matches this season. You won more than expected. The victories over Croatia and Slovenia for example. One more goal (of Deacon) and you would have end at three.

Hard times this season, yes. Our only striker is far too slow, thas the biggest problem at the moment.
