Yeah, Maqoma's on vacation but he'll post his speech later. I can say your vote is in good hands with him! :)
2006-07-25 18:22:51
I can confirm it ;)

phew

i was about to think that you wouldn't want to enroll again..

Do you think that your mod powers would be used to help NZ win, much in the same way as gibbage with england?

Why not start a thread when you return, instead of before you go on vacation?
2006-07-26 07:16:40
I would think Maqoma would make a really good coach.
2006-07-26 09:38:50
i think it would be to let us know that he is actually going for the position.

its what i'd do.

I know I would have more time then in the period when I was NT coach of Belgium...so no problem :)

Hi,

Here my speech for the NT coach selections.

Who am I?

I’m Maqoma, manager of BVBA Isimobewerking, currently playing in series 2de klasse.02, the 2nd Divsion off Belgium. I'm playing Sokker for 5 seasons now. I’m training forwards for 5 seasons and like to train talented players.

Experience in a National Team

2 seasons ago, I was the NT coach of Belgium (1200 users) and I won the group E before the better countries The Netherlands, Canada and Scotland. So I know what a NT is, how do you select a player, ...

I also gave bballmaster2 some advice for NT matches of New Zealand, last season.

Why New Zealand?

I think I can help NZ. With my experience, I can give something new at New Zealand. Like: new tactics, a newsletter, promotion campagn at NZ about Sokker,...

The tactics

I'm changing alot with tactics. I play the tactic that's the best against that opponent. I like to play with a 433 system, a offensif play, but if we can take some points with defensif play ... I will play defensif :)

Thank you for your vote!

greetz,
Maqoma

been waiting for this :P

you say you like to play with a 4-3-3 system, do you think this will be an appropriate tactic for NZ considering we have 2 very good strikers (not literally) and another alright few? Also, do you not think it would weaken the team to play 3 midfielders to give less ball to the forwards?

thanks for your time :)

the striker in the middle could have the mid setting, and be a midfielder, with extremly high passing, to possibly create chances by passing the balls to the 2 side strikers.

could fail a lot though:(

shhhhh!

it was for Maqoma :P

oh, sorry.

=p=p

I know that we have 2 'super' strikers and not 3. But only when I'm the NT coach, I can know what the true possibilitys are from the team...to make the best tactic for the team :)

About the 4-3-3 system. (Sometimes) I played this tactic with Belgium...why do I like this system? The reason is that our playmakers can help our defenders to stop some offensif attack from the opponent and can kick the long ball to the attackers or that playmaker behind the attackers.

That player behind the attackers must be good..when we don't have someone to play there, the tactic can always change to a tactic like this... the winger can make alot of new chance for the team (new ME)

---------x-----------x-------
---x-------------------------
-------------------------------
-------x----------------x-----
---------------x--------------
--------x---x-----x---x------

We are talking now about the 4-3-3 but I dind't say that I would play this every time...I'm a unpredictable manager so I will change my tactic every time :-)

thanks for your time :)

No problem :)

nice.

Do you think Playmaking or Passing is better for a midfielder?

Why do you think that?
2006-08-01 09:58:35
Nice questions :)

If I must choose 1...passing :) why? playmaking skill make their decisions faster, but that wouldn't say that the pass will be good enough to reach the player.

The best thing for a playmaker is a nice combination between that 2 skills and not divine playmaking and poor passing :)
