Bodger better do well against the Dominican Republic!!!!

Heehee. Hopefully he won't be distracted by the scenary. :)

National Team keeper Matthew Alves is on the TL. Taylor is the clear #1, but Alves is a useful #2 (especially if his form improves). He's still young enough to train.

Yes, he still pops well with good training.
I can´t say why his form drops, he hasn´t played that many games recently...very strange.

He was worth over 500k euro, before his form dropped and he has improved both in pace and gk-skill after that. Matthew should be worth a lot more!!!

I was unable to come to an agreement with Austria about "restrictions". I felt it was in the best interest for both sides to play U21 (with tough Q-matches the following week). The Austrian coach was determined to play a domestic non-premier game (ie., players from New Zealand II & III). I tried to explain this wasn't a great option with only 19 teams outside the premier in NZ. In the end, we decided to play whoever. I will still likely use lots of youngsters, and try to protect key players for the Canada match.

I'm from Spain but I'm gonna follow your games, I think I have a good player for the NT and I'll try to make him better to play. In all this season I will do defense and pace so I hope Robert Smith he could be able to be a powerful mid defensive.

When you will say the list for the matches?

Hehe, oops i injured him in my friendly against Maqoma *whistle*

from my view, he will have a hard time making the first team, we have some pretty quality defenders thanks to the likes of snowy and cikini

I'm still gathering player data, so I don't know where Smith stands yet. I will let you know when I do. :)

I usually post the line-up for friendlies on Thursdays of the week. Q-matches I send SK-mails to the managers of involved players - again on Thursday (once the form update has occurred).

Speaking of the form update, it was decent. Bodger spiked up 3 levels, Hird and Pritchett creeping the right direction.

Jake Dabner, a 21 year old defender / defensive middie and Unbelievers youth product, has been added to the roster.

Gordon Atkinson and Sam Sansom of The Invincibles added to the roster.

Thanks to Barhilo for the tip. :)

Robert Smith is a midfielder btw. I reckon he would be pretty good midfielder in the near future
2007-03-23 02:21:42
Thanks. :) Dcd was kind enough to share his stats. A promising player, but a couple of weaknesses that will keep him out of the senior squad in the immediate future. Will likely see some action in friendlies.

I think I sent out 38 requests for player info. Last I checked I had 20 responses. :P Several key players are still a bit of a mystery. So I feel I'm flying a little blind, but it shouldn't be too hard to hit the runway this weekend.

Yes, I know. Robert is still growing and of course that sure will be better players.

I hope, just that, play some minutes in friendlies and in U21.

One more thing. I think that it's important to make the younger team posible, being competitive of course. This is the best way to make players better and faster. (from my experience seeing other nt)

Good luck on saturday.
