Hird and Bodger do have an edge over Chadwick amoungst striker primaries (strike, tech & pace), but you're right - it's the secondaries that move them into that next class. :)

Form update wasn't pleasant. Kelly crashed hard, down another 3 levels. Several others slipped a little. Taylor was one of few who moved upwards.

Two injuries so far today, and both hurt (poor pun :P). Pritchett out for 20 days - he would have played a role against Canada. And Tomlinson out for 11 - I had hoped he would start this weekend against Austria.

A side note - Barhilo seems to be banned. Remembering that today is April 1st, I'm optimistic it's just a joke, and that he hasn't actually done something foolish.

Not as the rules currently are. Have to wait for St patricks blue to be replaced (which will take a while).

Pretty frustrating for small nations. Canada's top U21 striker last season was on a team in Poland IV that went bot. Lost most of last season's training, and since the team didn't drop, likely won't get training for another 2 seasons (minimum).

Another player in a similar plight has been added to the team. Stuart Pereto looks to be a promising young defender, but his team has gone bot. Brazil (where he plays) is a large and growing Sokker nation, but Pereto's team is in C - will take a couple of seasons for it to drop far enough to be replaced.

Austria has changed their mind and agreed to play U21 this weekend. At the moment I'm inclined to ask for 1 22 year old exemption - the team is a little lean up front.

I spent some time this afternoon going through the transfer histories of all Premier and Division II clubs looking for potential U21 players. Sent a number of messages. Not sure anything will turn up, but it's worth a shot. I will go through Division III a little later.

Should also add that today's form update was craptacular. Many slipped (Hird and Richards notables), some held, few rose (Taylor notable).
