Got through Sunday without losing any more players. :) If the form update would be kind (especially to Hird and Edwards) it would help hide some of the absences a little.

Canada lost 1 potential combatant. Jerome Moreau, who could potentially have relieved one of Amado or Giacomi (more likely Giacomi b/c of his form) is out for 20 days.

Hird to weak form (think thats an improvement..) and Bodger is...slowly...increasing..

True. :) Hird's done that the past few weeks - up a couple on Monday, just to lose them on Thursday. Edwards didn't move. :(

Canada's got everyone available, but do have a couple key players in lack-lustre form (striker Giacomi and mega-keeper Parker). They both improved today. :S

Matt Graham has been released from NT duty.

I was very optimistic when I got his data at the start of the season (had some old data stored from when he was 20 - was expecting good things). Unfortunately, he hasn't been getting training this season, and his current team isn't interested in moving him (so that he could be trained).

He's not good enough as is, and isn't improving. If he were to be sold or trained, he could be called up again.

Who needs him when you have Watts anyway ;).

Heehee. :) Can't seem to ever have enough quality defenders - just have to look to last week for an example. :)

Watts & Kelly are certainly part of the new core, along with Kilkenny and Edwards. If Matthews and De Bruin (I don't think he's being trained either) had been developed, it would have been quite a solid group.

Dawkins isn't being trained. I believe Chadwick and Harris are, but at their age aren't making much for gains anymore. Dawkins and Chadwick are (IMO) struggling to keep up. (Anytime the team is compelled to play Chadwick, it severely limits options at the defensive end.) Harris is ok for now.

Depth will always be an issue. It brings a tear to my eye to see players like Graham go to waste. I just can't understand why a team would pay a premium for a young player from a small country and not train him. Why not buy an old Polish player instead? Could get better skills for half the cost. It boggles my mind. :S

Two additions to the squad.

Alan Welford, a nice young keeper and product of N_Z, currently playing in Romania.

I'm speculating a little with Aaron Mair of St. Patrick's Blue. Have no stats to go on - just what I've inferred from watching him play. He's got decent value, and always puts up a good mark (for what that's worth). Likely to only see action once - to get his "release" cap.

He's coming along nicely. :) It would be great to have some depth behind Taylor in case of form or injury problems.

For the first time in ages, Hird and Bodger have the same form. This is good news for Hird (on the way up), but not so good for Bodger (heading the other directon).

It's a bit of a concern that Kelly remains off-form. Would like to see him break into an upward trend.

highly pissed off at bodger. Meant to get better form when injured but the bloody idiot obviously doesn't know how to do it. I'm going to have to find some divine intervention to override gibbage's control of his form with his mod button!

My evil plan has been discovered! I've been sapping form from other teams (yours) all season and it has taken you this long to notice. I would have thought the amount of players I have in the top 3 levels of form would become suspicious eventually though ;).

Jake Bowen's owner has told me he is likely to be sold in the foreseeable future. He's a nice little striker ... on a National team with some real kick ass strikers. :P His (sparse) usage this year is probably indicative of what he will see in future seasons. If you are interested in him, drop his owner an SK mail. I don't know what price he's looking for.

Got through the weekend without injury. Team is the healthiest it has been all season (and suspension free).

Form still bites. Two levels (on average) behind Canada and Croatia. Moldova is the only other Group J member with similarly poor overall form.

Of note, Bodger slipped some more.
