Gavin Lynch has been called up for National Team duty.

Doesn't look like much now, but he would seem to be an extremely nice midfield prospect. Will likely only see occassional "table scraps" of playing time for the immediate future.

With the win yesterday, New Zealand is in the 3rd basket for the World Cup draw.

Lots of luck required at this stage. :P There are some brutal possibilities. This would (IMO) be the worst:

1. Poland
2. Belgium
4. Estonia

4. Australia

That's not an easy group, but would be highly entertaining. :)

There is an interesting young striker on the TL right now. Brent Jeffs, if talented, might have NT potential. Wivak may know more about his talent level ...

The stats look good for a 17 year old, but aren't super for an 18 year old (which he is now for all intents and purposes). He's got some NT potential, but is not a lock by any means.

i'm just waiting to hear the talent, didn't like seeing borkos leading the bidding =D You're right about those stats not being good for an 18 year old...

Is Borkos a big spender? I haven't had a rough & tumble with him on the auction floor.
