hahahaha!

I know for a fact we play well above our ranking, question is.. do they?
2007-07-09 18:13:47
Good luck, have fun... [;
Although you are our rivals I'll be supporting New Zealand...

Heehee. All support happily accepted. :)

Jake Bowen, a reserve striker, has hit the TL.

Not much to note with the form update. Bodger up a little.

Matt Graham has been called up again. He was dropped last season because his manager stopped training him. Seems he is being trained again, and in the stat he most needs to be a contributor.

Will be watching him closely. If he hits the TL soon, I will likely drop him again. I don't want to reward a manager who stunted his growth.

Have arranged to play Belarus in week 3. Both sides will be resting top players in preparation for the World Cup.

Bowen went for more then I expected. Seems to have landed with a pace trainer, which is good. :)

3 players released from the NT. All have younger contemporaries higher on the depth chart.

Barker

I mentioned the unofficial U21 tourney earlier, but didn't get much feedback. Sign up is currently underway. Sooo ... any thoughts? Defense might be a little thin, but the other areas of the team look decent.

Don't care either way. :) There will be teams around for friendlies if the consensus is to not participate.

i'm not fussed either ;)

mind with U-21, fixtures will always be arranged

Bodger gone up to formidable now, Hird at average.. dunno whether thats an improvement or not.

At least Bodger is picking the right season to go back into form (hopefully)
2007-07-12 17:17:31
Bodger and Kilkenny were the only form bright spots I noticed.

Hird was down a couple levels. As were Gilbert, Harris, Richards, Atkinson, Roza ...

Some others (Kelly, Edwards) held their current lousy levels.

All in all, form is still really, really poor. :S
2007-07-12 17:26:32
dag nabbit, that really sucks.

We need to use our collective mod buttons!
2007-07-12 23:17:43
My gilbert was divine almost the entire past season...now, his form sucks
2007-07-16 15:33:20
As usual, the form update held little good news. Sansom has been one bright spot over the past month - has really turned things around. Brent Gilbert has shed a fair bit of form the past month - seems determined to join the other lagards.

Average team form has now dropped to "excellent". By contrast, Chile, the squad's first WC opponent, has an average team form of "brilliant". I'm not just imagining things - form is a real issue for the team right now. :S

haha Kilkenny is getting his high form back:P
2007-07-18 15:32:56
Gordon Atkinson took a knock that will likely rule him out of the first WC game (will be SI 3-5 which would have a significant affect on his performance).
