Just watched the match and thought it was pretty good. Bodger still showing he is worth his weight in gold, even after leaving me and the heartbreak he must've endured. Hird loving being back in position, he is just a great player!

A lack of goals (5 is still good) could be put down to the way they stacked the box, possible deflections always seem to put strikers off i've found (which is why N_Z's tactic works well defensively. Tactic worked well and the only thing i have a problem with is throw ins next to the offensive corner line, they're just being chucked away, literally! GJ though.

problem is, we have to win all matches :( so we need a miracle against italy ..

I wasn't going to watch Andorra - New Zealand - it didn't sound all that compelling. But when I saw the line-up I changed my mind. A number of New Zealand players in the line-up I had grown quite fond of. :)

Nice to see Root get a chance. Thought he played well. The one guy who (IMO) played over his head was Gilbert. We expect him to defend well, but usually he's a complete knucklehead with the ball. He made a lot of good decisions and passes in this match. :)
