I'm told David Watts will be available soon. He's been revealed if you wish to take a peek.

Ideally he'd get a season of PM training. That would really make him top class. Some more pace or passing would be acceptable alternatives.

How weak.

I'm still trying to get a sense of what all there is on the roster.

Steven Pritchett is on the TL. He's a little pace training away from being NT material - so I've called him up. Think his home club (which has invested a lot in his training) should benefit if he has a chance of being useful.

Caveat emptor. ;)

I need younger players :P.

He'll keep getting trained until I get an acceptable offer though.

How much are you wanting?

Bill Kingi, 23 year old Cashmere midfielder, has been recalled (1 previous cap).

Noting some important milestones for NT players is something I try to do. Haven't got the habit going so far this season, so there is a little catching up to do.

vs. Estonia

Luke Harris - 60th cap
John Kilkenny - 60th cap

vs. Panama

Johnny Bodger - 90th cap (wow!)
Rob Morcombe - 4th of 5 goals was his 30th for the NT

vs. Peru

Sam Sansom - 1st NT goal

Have lost Johnny Bodger for a spell due to injury. Hopefully his form will recoup some during his convalescence.

Not much great news on the form-front. Strikers as a group continue to be stuck mid-range.

Lost Dawkins today for a couple of weeks. One less tool for Portugal. :S

Good & bad news with the form update.

The main concern continues to be the front-line strikers. Hird has managed to push into distinctly positive territory. B Gilbert tho, has sunk below the form "event horizon" and may be stuck in the doldrums for seasons now (a la Richards). :S

Watts officially on his way out of England now.

Thanks for pointing that out (I hadn't noticed the switch from TA to TL).

Here's the player link for anyone interested in adding a class defender. I'd love to add him, but he'd be pretty much dead to training on my team.

i woulda bought him...too late, or early?
2008-07-14 14:14:39
Who did you want to buy?
2008-07-14 19:08:24
I wanted someone that can stop Dean Byers. My defenders are whimps
2008-07-14 22:59:13
Its really not that hard to stop him =p
