Yup. Actually it's hard to say now who beats who, in most groups everybody can beat everybody, maybe except Poland. If that won't make people interested in NTs then nothing will...:(
Going to be the best WC ever I think!

Josh Perry, 24 year old midfielder, has been recalled (1 previous cap).
He's built a lot like Petherick - with a little less pace, and a little more tackling and finesse. His form will likely mean he won't contribute for a while.

Wow realy a difficult draw :(.What a pitty.. Good luck with this tough group Seca!
Bit of good news with form this week. Edwards has finally clawed his way into the top half of the spectrum. Would be nice to have him back in form for the WC.
Kingi joined Watts and Lachlan on the sidelines with a knock.
Have been arranging friendlies. Haven't been able to get matches with the teams directly around New Zealand. Some things may pop up are teams exit from the WC. Couple tough teams the next two weeks. Teams towards the back of the schedule are competitive with New Zealand having an upper hand in a few of them.
Week 2 - Canada
Week 3 - Scotland
Week 4 - 6 WC
Week 7
Week 8
Week 9
Week 10
Week 11 - Iceland
Week 12 - Jamaica
Week 13 - Belarus
Week 14 - Russia
Week 15 - Ireland
Week 0 - Australia
Week 1 - Venezuela
Still have a few invitations floating out there. Will update as we go. :)

Call-up: John Campfens - 24 yr old ... errr ... defender? He's pacey, but needs work most everywhere else.
Morcombe out 3 weeks with a knock.
That's a kick in the teeth to any WC aspirations. :S

I don't plan to enter New Zealand in the U21 Tournament this season. Just don't have a competitive squad, and the team's ranking will have taken a beating by then.
Robert Smith, 26 yr NT midfielder, is on the TL.
Don't buy him for his NT status. There's going to be a big cull after the World Cup, and Smith is one of those that will be shown the door. Given his age, there is no chance he can improve his deficiencies.

jeepers, if he was like 22/23 those skills would've been great.
Alex Richards - 26 yr NT midfielder, is on the TL.
Once a rising star, his NT career has been ruined by season after season of horrendous form. I consider him one of the poster children for form reform.
At 26 his training days are pretty much done. Could use a hair more tech & passing. If his form every improves he would still be a useful piece for the NT.

Lost DeBruin today with an injury. He has the special distinction of leading our WC group in fouls (with 4) despite only playing in 1 match. :D
So far down DeBruin and Root, while Morcombe is once again available.

If some work were done on his passing and PM, it would fill a major hole in the New Zealand line-up. The caveat is that he is 24 ... not sure how much can be accomplished. Perhaps a reasonable amount. Hard to say.

Should also probably mention this guy. The holes in the U21 roster might actually be sufficiently large to give Zane a crack. Keep in mind that isn't certain, there won't be many U21 matches this season, and it unlikely he'll develop sufficiently to ever make the senior squad.
