Hi guys,
1 win - 1 draw - 1 lost game into the Mini WC Group | we advanced with 4 points from the 2nd place
Played into the next round against Ireland and lost narrowly with 2-1 as to reach the semifinals.
Into the 5th-8th place round we had Russia as an opponent.
A nice comeback from 2-0 and we got the win with 2-3.
For the 5th/6th place we shall meet The Azers.

Today's game showed me how unrealistic this game has become,
The opponent has 3 consecutive shoots on goal and 3 goals. We have 3 consecutive shoots on goal and no goal.
We miss a penalty, the opponent scores from a penalty.
I hope to still have patience with this kind of nasty engine.

It was a game against a good team , a world cup team , so don't beat yourself up too much...you have a few more weeks left , try to stay in the 48th place and next season and you will keep a good chance for the next qualifications.

The problem is that this season we played 4 times against them and the engine was in each game with the Azers. This is what disturbs me.

It has not been a very good season, we did play good most of the games, but the final outcome was not the wanted one,

Sorry for not being active around here for the last weeks,
As everyone knows last season was dedicated to friendly games, we had better ranked opponents and unfortunately we did not manage to succeed against them, Bad luck, bad tactics, wrong line-up, we may call it however we want, but in the end the results are all that matter and we were not up to the challenge,

We play good sokker, we create scoring chances, but in the end the opponent knocks one more than us.

For the new season there will be World Cup games, unfortunately we stand in a group of 5, which is the biggest drawback we could encounter,
GROUP P:
1. Argentina (ranked 7th)
2. Eesti (ranked 21st)
3. Chile (ranked 51st)
4. New Zealand (ranked 54th)
5. Kazakhstán (ranked 85th)
It will be quite difficult to qualify specially in a group of 5, but we will do our best, game by game.

On Saturday we engaged into a friendly game against our neighbors Australia. We started with a 532, they played a 5311. So, mainly we dominated the game and the win should have gone our way, but when you miss a lot on chances, football punishes you and Australia regained the equal score into the last minutes.
Now we have to erase the last season and focus on the next one,
Goal: 31' Samuel Baholo, 1-0
Next stop, first game of the World Cup qualifying stage against Chile.

World Cup thrills have started today with a new qualifying season. As we all know, we stand into a group of 5, which is the an undesirable situation for any national team which is attending group qualifiers.
First opponent, Chile. Positioned 50th into the World rankings, a very inconvenient team. They can beat better teams, but they can loose unanticipated to weaker teams.
Our starting line-up for today was:
GK: Sonny-Bill Cooper
DEF: Toby Lynch - Ryan Nicholas - Gerald Marsh - Ma'a Deacon - Greg Freebairn
MID: Sebastian Lowry - Murray Jennings - Matt Davidson
ATT: Samuel Baholo - Phillip Read
The team started the match with a 5-3-2, winger mode. If things went wrong an additional tactic was prepared.
Fortunately all went as planned and the initial tactic did the job.
Sonny was our number 1 player today, at least five 1 vs 1 chances have been rescued by him.
I really enjoyed sub winger Reeves. He did a great job while he was on the field.
A very good start for the campaign, I really hope we can keep up the pace with big boys Argentina and Eesti,

Great result...Chile is a tough team , now if you repeat that against Argentina or Estonia , that would be great :p
