Anyone heard of "7 degrees of Kevin Bacon"?

I'm starting to think "7 degrees of Barhilo" might work for most of the New Zealand community. :P

2007-07-11 10:32:19
Cheers, yeah pitty about jimmy but i think it was worth it :)

Nice work on your win :)
2007-07-12 00:01:33
yeah pretty happy with the result. I used a lot of young players. so i guess 6-0 was ok
2007-07-12 11:26:59
Nice win there league buddy :-P

Only won 2-1. Although I did play a defensive formation, so a low goal tally is to be expected.

i played a attacking game plan and won 3-1 but i played my reserve goalkeeper so not much expected
2007-07-13 18:47:14
Not a bad win for me. 2-1. however the teams passing is letting us down so that needs to be worked on.

As for the next cup game!!!!! W.A.W!! Should be interesting!!

nice one pup :D
You beat a premier team. Cant say ive ever done that. I just scraped home 3-1 against York City AFC. I see my league colleague Taipa Rovers also beat a premier team. So that takes Wonnabes and One out of the next round. And another two good teams got taken out to. West Auckland Warr... Hyperintelligent S... Just keep fingers crossed that we dont get real hard games next round. I think there is a way to tell who you get next, but i cant remember how to do it

Havent had a chance to look at the game yet but i cant believe the team came thru. Round 4 here i come for the first time!!
2007-07-18 10:30:25
Yeah nice work mate, congrats

It might be my new tactics I'm using :S They are going great guns

How many rounds are there? After the 4th does it go to quarter finals?
2007-07-18 10:33:35
Just keeps going till the last two standing. Just read the rules and its pretty random who we play next.

In each round the teams will be allocated into two baskets according to their seeding based on their previous year's league position, with the 1st basket containing the "strongest" 50% of teams, and the 2nd containing the "weakest" 50%. Once this is done, the pairings will then be random - i.e. any team from the 1st basket could play any team from the 2nd basket.
