Subject: New Zealand Cup

Just keeps going till the last two standing. Just read the rules and its pretty random who we play next.

In each round the teams will be allocated into two baskets according to their seeding based on their previous year's league position, with the 1st basket containing the "strongest" 50% of teams, and the 2nd containing the "weakest" 50%. Once this is done, the pairings will then be random - i.e. any team from the 1st basket could play any team from the 2nd basket.

I think this is how it works. Since taipa rovers beat seed 8, he gets the seed. So taipa rovers is seeded 8 and is safe in group one.

Pup23, you beat seed 9 and so you are now seed 9 but unfortunately that puts you in the second basket :P so you will have to play someone in the first basket

So next week it will work like that. Someone from group One will have to play someone from group two. Heh I think all group one teams are tough except maybe taipa rovers. (no offense)SO lucky you whoever gets him ;)

Hmm I think my second string should still be able to do it next week against any of group 2 >:)

don't think that's how it works, I think Left Footers is in that first group. It's the highest 8 remaining sides in the competition, an upset doesn't mean they take over the seed iirc.
