The first match up (between unbelievers and deathstrike) should be a great one! a possible vengeance match with unbelievers looking to secure another one over bball. I'll probably be watching this one live over my own one and I'll have my money put on bball.

cashmere v F.Tigers should be an interesting one too, i imagine Al_Thore would've looked at bball's thrashing of them and taken some tips, made easier by the fact that tigers never changes tactic, are easy to ping offside (even i can do it! and i hate offside traps) and have pretty shoddy defense.

snowy's absence doesn't mean he wont win over spcblue'd ex team. Should be an easy win there.

And of course i should win my one too, will have to play Bodger/Byers for some of it again for training reasons, but otherwise the sub strikers should rule the day.

That gave me a right scare.. was expecting to go to extra-time deadlocked. Well played match Jute, if your defense was better i think you might've won it.

Shock result in my game.
Gucwiński put us ahead in the 40th minute. 1-0 at half time. Herbert evened it up in the 49th minute. Then Varão put us back in front in the 51st minute 2-1. A gutsty effort to hang on and get cashmere through to the next round.
All the games were close.
I dont care who i draw next week. They all good teams left and cant see our run in the cup continuing. Been fun so far, and the gate takings were badly needed. My coaches are robbers

Damn. Felt I was right in the match against the wise men. Gotta get myself a better keeper....

hehe I was tempted to tell you to put a straight line defence against him but that would take the fun away of a repeat finals :P where I would emerge victorious this time :D

My match was okay. Lins is scarily good. But I think I pounded unbelievers 20 shots to 4 shots. His keeper had a fine day!

Al Thore I'm very impressed with your run in the cup. the "testing" tactic is pretty good ain't it ;) Good victory against Fiery Tigers.

If you face me I will tell you all my weaknesses and how to beat me. Hopefully you will make a tactic that can sort of do some damage to my team to make the semis more interesting. ;)

haha. Yes tactic worked fine. I did what you did and had them offside alot. his team was faster than mine,but not alot they can do if there caught offside all the time :)

Lucky im a compulsive spender and have enough players to cover all the injured players and cards im getting.
I haven't had a game against you yet. I'm sure it will be more a learny game for me and the boys no matter who the opposition next week
