He was quite badly screwed over in the first match vs st patties on sunday, i wont at all be surprised if N_Z does win. Just a few minor tactical changes will put him as favourite.

I'm stoked about this round, it really shows that our div II teams are really developing in terms of team skill and tactical knack =] I really wasn't expecting to win by such a large margin, which is why i put out a primarily 1st team

Just watched the match and he played a very strange tactic. His defenders were set back way too fat allowing my strikers to play around as much as they wanted in the box. It was a good theory, but should've tested it first.

Holy crap i hope i dont cup up against Jute next week otherwise i'll be mass ordering cotton wool =/

heh. Paid off the ref & it was a done deal. Need a new trick to pull for next Wednesday. My run of quarter-final losses have to end some day.......

see what you mean. his keeper did save a lot of goals too, so lucky you didn't won by more :) his defenders were indeed way too low and when you had cornerkick allmost no one of his team was covering your players. But ok, even with the best tactic he still would've lost :)

Im happy with my 2-0 results.

Afterall every single player on the field is a trainee player except 2 veterans.

You can expect my full B squad in the next round as well ;)

I caught cashmere - The Invincibles and New Mancheste United - wonnabies.

Root was excellent for cashmere. The other match was a little ragged at times, but pretty entertaining.

Who said I would lose? Did it with one of my best defenders injured also. Had to buy a quick replacement who was next to useless.

Still...tactic needs a bit of adjustment.
