Subject: New Zealand Cup

You want to get your keeper to fluke 19 saves and have a midfield that cant set up their strikers and strikers who cant finish when they do get set up?

Thats my tactic.

Well My lineup is all set for the cup finals. I would have much more confidence if my keeper and best defender were fit to play but still I believe in my team and tactic :P

Crap!!! I played the wrong tactic!!

I still can't help but feel hard done by. I had better strikers with more shots against a weaker keeper and yet they still managed to score less. Dont get me started on those open goal misses by both Bodger and Byers too.. Byers had the opportunity to level it in the 90th, and should've done so easily, but that aussie sack of CRAP screwed it up.

The real highlight of the match on my team was Asta, he played exceptionally. Iozzi and Ferenc must have massive tech too...

A very interesting cup final. :) While watching the match I was wondering if the hard press by 11 Wise Men was a reaction to BBall's sweeper comment (sounds like it was a mistake?). Worked well against Deathstrike's forwards, but gave their wings too much room. Iozzi was great.

I was sure Byers was going to even it in the 90th. :) Bad luck. Amado did the very same thing to me in the cup last season.

PS - Princess Bride isn't a chick flick. Andre the Giant ... Mandy Patinkin ... very manly entertainment. :D

And now that i've stopped fuming over my useless strikers...

WD on winning the cup again bball, we're 1:1 this season so far, but it looks like i'm destined to win the league, just so we're square =p

Looks as if it was a cup dominated by the 11 Wise Men, but not won in the end. This spells the end of my serious competition for a while as i go through a different stage in the club =]
