Yeah both spc and snowy played very good matches imo but spc has the better performance on the day. Some very good sames from Pol there too!
We're now into the Nitty Gritty stage of the cup. Its no longer easy to progress for anyone. 6 premier teams and 2 premier level teams remain.

havent looked at any other matches yet but i must say, my team performed marvellous today. Matthews really did well and made some beautiful passes and Bodger has played the best he has in ages, minus the massive brain explosion he has about the 56th minute....

Wow. goddamn. spc, you were screwed by the engine. The second goal scored by bball could've been prevented if you didn't get that red card. Also, i counted the woodwork being hit 5 times, only one time was the result a goal.
You totally pwnd his offside trap, i was amazed! I think if you played your defs slightly forward a bit more you would've gotten him a few more offsides too. The one big thing that let you down was your defense though. I hope you aren't offended when i say it was crap. I did a similar thing first round i think..
Otherwise i think you outdid him tacticwise, well done!

Bloody hell! wivak, did you make this tactic especially for the match against the Tigers? It was bloody marvellous! you had defenders right on mccallum, morcombe, ferris and gilbert and had your own strikers in the biggest gaps there were! It was an almost perfect tactic! I can't think of any way to improve it myself, and i think other people might possibly want to shift someone 1 square or something!
The only reason you lost was just the sheer class of Gilbert and Ferris being able to dodge your men and send beauty passes in. thats all.

ok first off, unbelievers... for the love of god set some subs!!! you are the first team i have ever seen win (excl ps2 football games) with 8 players on the field at the end of the match!!
Millionairos.. your defense sucked i think.. I think if you moved the two dudes off the wing towards the centre you would get a lot better results. Your midfield and forward tactics are a bit too... generic? too. i dunno. Otherwise i think your players just played bad on the day.
If anyone feels like i'm a dickhead cause of anything i've said, feel free to say so.

there were so many chances that they just let by because (mostly) Linderoth went through a gap, or wasn't tackled the first time.

sorry I didnt have time to set a new tactic. It was the exact same lineup on sundays league game. SPC u were unlucky not to beat me. I havent watch the game, no time.. but I'm guessing u were unlucky.
