i thought Watts was going to injure him?

or are they both part of the mongrel mob?? ;]

Unfortunately, players in the same side as Bodger can not injure him.

I have invited ~ 10 teams to a friendly next week, including all WC group opponents, and some usual combatants (Australia, England, Canada ...). Guess we'll see who's up for it. :)

If we play England it might be too easy. Greg got re-election although i'm surprised to see Woppa stayed in til the end of the election! =O

I followed the England election, though Greg H looked pretty solid.

I'd be pleased if England accepted - my club team did quite well against St Albans (not that that means anything) - would be happy to take them on. :)

i was kidding =p greg is a formidable manager and i can't really see anyone else leading england ex gibbage, if only he wasn't so focused on ghana...

It wasn't my intent to diminish Greg H - he's a clever manger. My squad was certainly stronger then his - a big part of the equatiion. But confidence against an opponent helps. :)

Mr. G is all pixie dust and Hulkas. It's hard not to be confident against him. ;)

You would never beat my side though :P.

maybe there should be a match between you two? in the end of the season, week 15 :P

and mod buttons!

Denmark has accepted a friendly invitation for this weekend. This will be a challenging match, and the last full-squad affair before the World Cup (most all useful components will be rested in Week 3).

Line-up and formation were set earlier in the week, but for some reason I procrastinated notifying managers - that's been done now.

Wanted a strong opponent this week, and got one. Denmark has no real weaknesses, and lots of depth. I played them once in my Canada days - lost 3-2.

They do have a new manager, one I know from managing Canada (he was training one of Canada's better prospects at the time). We've continued to exchange the odd SK-mail from time to time - seems a decent fellow. Doesn't help much since I've had no tactical experience against him. :P

This would be an interesting match for Joakim Linderoth to make his NT debut. :)

(And in case some were unsure, I was just teasing Mr. Gibbage above - he is a manager of considerable prowess. I periodically stop by the Mcoi training grounds to see if he's come up with anything ingenious. It does happen ... tho not often :P).

yeah, he likes to repeat tactics =[

At least you know what iwll be coming at you with Linderoth too, bball has posted his stats countless times.. still a nasty blighter to come across!
