Subject: Promotion rule

2007-05-13 12:43:00
omg, its unfair for me because II.2 its a very tough table, if my team ends season as the best III team, it will replace the worst team in league II, thats really really unfair

then start to play decidedly average :P

mind you, if you get to a crap II then auto-promote to Premier.... you're gonna get annihilated ;P

of course i dont want to stuck in a tough II table and so does everyone, one season auto-promote to II, one another auto-promote to Premier, and one another auto-relegate to II, that sounds better than 2 or more seasons in a II table :D

from saca comment, thats mean if my team is the second best team in the III division, my team will auto-replace the second worst team in II division and third best replace third worst?

Correct. :) As of today, your squad and NZ Arsenal are tied in points and goal differential. You are still the #1 side based on goals for.

There is quite a bit of disparity amoungst the IIs. Not that marks are everything, but they are a decent indicator.

40.9 Premier
30.4 League II.02
25.6 League II.04
23.5 League II.03
22.0 League II.01

If you were to go into II.02, your team would be last in terms of marks. :P Economically, you would be further ahead (more wins, more & happier fans) to go anywhere else.

I don't think it would be all bad to be in II.02. It's more fun to be in with active users. You'd probably learn more too.

definitely.

As an example, you generally find NT coaches have better tactics than non-NT coaches because they've been in the harder arena where many good tactics are played, so learn more about them. Same for if you're in a tougher series, your tactics become better because of it.

I can say i've learnt many things form bball's tactics alone :)

what the marks mean for promotion?
thats mean if season ends now my team will auto-promote to II.02?
to barhilo: i know that but im a new team and economics now is the most important, of course i can learn much more from premier players, fe from you :D

the marks are average marks of the team. They are the total of the marks of all players that played in the game (eg, Dean Byers got 52 in my last match) and divided by the number of players that played. This gives the average mark for the team for that weak.

The figures that Seca gave you are the average of those average marks for this season (ie, out of the 9 matches) If you can get your head around that ;)

As for learning off my own tactics, i wouldn't recommend it.. mine usually have some wacky twist to it, besides the fact that you'll need Plus to watch another players. NT matches are the best to watch (against evenly matched teams). Some great NT managers that pique my interest with their tactical knack are:

our very own Seca, (NT - NZ)
Vilpu (NT Island(Iceland))
cometer (on the odd occasion :P) (NT - Australia)
and dare i say borkos007 :O (NT - Eesti(Estonia))

Havent really explored the scene i must say, but of the ones i've watched, they are good.

how could u get these figure
40.9 Premier
30.4 League II.02
25.6 League II.04
23.5 League II.03
22.0 League II.01
2007-05-15 12:25:44
you have to have plus to get access to them :)
2007-05-15 12:40:55
damn, everything needs plus :D
how much USD a year for plus?
2007-05-15 13:02:16
$27.57 as at 15/05/07

Also consider the US dollar has been pretty weak as of late..

Please don't auto-promote to Premier. You'll drag the quality down >:D
2007-05-16 13:12:25
why dont auto-promote, what u mean?
did u mean that promote to the premier too soon is bad idea?
and totally, i shouldnt be the best team in III to be auto-promoted to the II.02?
