Hi, I'm Alessio (AléKso in Sokker) and I play in this game for one year.
I play in the 3rd league in Italy (Serie C) and I think to have a lot of experience about tactics.
I prefer playing with a 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 in base of the against.

If you will vote me I promise to give all my knowledge and I will try to improve your position in the world ranking in sokker.
Furthermore I will make a sort of "twinship" with Italy to improve your young player and try to train them in the better way.

Do you know that you are going to be competing against Seca? he's a really good Nt coach. What can you tell us to convince us you are more qualified then him?

In Italy there are 6 divisions and I was promoted in the 3rd league in three seasons. Considered that I play since 12-06-2006, I have played 4 seasons collecting 2 promotions and one second place. :)
No so bad. ^^

Of course.
First of all I think that nobody can say "Well...this tactic is perfect!", 'cause we have to modify it in base of the against we have to face.
But I have some tactics with different disposition (442,433,352 etc) in which I have improved the moviments of players that I have.
For example:
I bilieve that to use a tall defence is not so usefull.
I prefer playing with a "conscientious" tactic, where,first of all, my players have to defend perfectly, and then we can make our game with the mid players.
I think that all the players are important to win, but I give more responsabilities to defenders.
This is my point of view. :)

As for my ideal tactic, I have my personal opinion about the strikers, too.
Infact I think if our strikers interlace with them selfs, they help midfields with a lot skills in "Playmaker", to pass the ball faster than with a static strikers.
Of course, what I mean is to make exchanges that improve the way we play.
So you have to modify that in base of the against too, such as the tactics in general.

I have seen a lot of New Zealand's matches and of course I have my own idea about tactic, players etc.
I think that Seca is a very good NT coach, and it can't be discussed of course, but, as matter of facts, looking his way to play, I have seen that he is totally different to me in the way he explains his game.
So,I can't say to you "You should vote me 'cause I'm better then another one...or...I'm better then Seca" because I will surely talk nonsense.
Instead I think that you can choose two different ways to play...choose which you prefer!

If there are interessant players that could be play in NT, I will ask to these trainers, depending if the player is POR,DEF,MID or ATT, to train him in the better way to grow up him.

First off i'd like to say that i can be a right little ....thing around election times because if i see something i dont agree with in a candidate speech then i go right in there and take a dig at it, so even though i probably wont be the nicest to you, please dont take it personally or think that it means you wont be getting my vote.

Secondly, I think in bball's question above, he was asking for a time or occurance for a good tactic of yours in action, which means visually seeing it. He might not be able to without a youtube clip, but i would like to see a match from it. So could you please give me an example of where you defeated a superior rated team with tactical knack?

Next, could you please tell me whether you would play to your own strengths or attack an opponent's weaknesses in a match? (One of the other, no middle ground please)

In my opinion those two sentences contradict. A perfect defender for me would be one that stops the ball getting past him every time then kicks it upfield to a midfielder or out of play (whichever is appropriate at the time). How will you give more responsibilities to defenders and how would it make the team win?

In New Zealand, our striker talent is far superior to our midfield talent. Did you mean to say for the strikers to pass back into midfield? If so why would you be wanting to have our strikers pass when they would probably be better off having a go at goal?

Why can't it be discussed? One of the things about being NT coach is that anything you do can be scrutinized. If you dont think he did something right, please post it here so it can help your argument.

Seca's tactic's proved very successful against the weaker opponents, and also against the stronger opponent in Canada who we managed to beat first time round. How is his style of playing different to yours?

Modesty doesn't cut it when going for a position like this, you have to think that you are the best standing candidate for the job (unless its a joke campaign =p). If you dont think you are the best candidate, then why should anyone else?

Why do you want to improve our U-21 team next season? It will be world cup time and we need to use our main squad to get as far as we can in the cup. It will be good future planning of course, but shouldn't you be focusing on the task at hand? Also, how were you planning to organise and improve the U-21's?

I'm all for one in getting a talented trainee to go to a great trainer to get trained up as good as possible, but to all go to a potentially opposing country? Wouldn't that give them a distinct advantage over us in the future? (ignoring the fact that they are one of the best teams in the game regardless)

I think is better attack an opponent's weaknesses, especially when the opponent is is very strength.

Offside trap.
I think that in national matches, where the teams are very strength, make an offside trap is a sort of suicide! :)
Of course if the opponent team can be stopped with a defence with offside trap, I will make it.
But I think it will be very difficult because all the others teams have very good strikers.

What I mean is that it's stupid (excuse the word) trying to win a match against Polska for example, betting on the mid or strikers, in my opinion.
I think that the point to start if we want to make a winner team is to bet on the defence.
When I say "defence" i don't mean just defenders only, but all the players who help team.
After that...when We have finally conquered the ball, we have to play our game and we should play finding the opponent's weaknesses.

How will you give more responsibilities to defenders and how would it make the team win??

I can't give a universal answer, because the main point is always the same: it depends on the opponent we have.
In base of the strikers' position of the against team, I will make a tactic that should stopped their attacks.
For example:
If I have to face a team that play with 3 strikers, and these are very fast, surely I can't play with 3 defenders, and surely I can't use the offside.
If I have to face a team with 3 strikers with a lot of technique, I will put a mid to help my central defender. In this way the striker can be stopped.
If I have to face a team with 3 strikers with a lot of skills in "striker", of course I have to force them to play far to my keeper. In this way is more difficult to score.

Did you mean to say for the strikers to pass back into midfield?

No.
What I mean is interlace the strikers, but they haven't to pass back into midfield.
They just have to run in different ways to infiltrate into the against defence.
If You want you can see one of my matches with the 4-3-3 tactic, or if you want I can pass you the tactic to see better.

But anyway, I really think he is a good coach, but I think that for your national team I'm more indicated.

How is his style of playing different to yours?

First of all the defence.
Probably you will never see me to play with 3 defenders, unless I have to do it, because I think 3 defenders don't give strength enough to the defence.
Secondly I prefer interlacing the strikers and being left mids near the strikers over, but in the same time one or two, in base of opponent's tactic, mid have to stay behind, near defenders.

What I mean is that I can't say I am better that another one, because it can't be valued.
But what I want to say you is that I am different than Seca, and in my opinion, my personal opinion, my way to play can be more useful to improve New Zealand in world ranking in sokker.
But it can't been said with words, but YOU have to look the differences between me and Seca, and then chose the better one for you.
My "job", at the moment, is to say you all what are my projects, my ideal tactics and how I prefer playing....then you choose. :)

Why do you want to improve our U-21 team next season?

I don’t want to bet just only on the U-21 team, but absolutely I want to improve it, because it is the future of NT.

Also, how were you planning to organise and improve the U-21's?

I have thinked to play on Saturday (not all Saturdays) to organize a match with another NT where both teams play with young players, under 21 years old.
To improve them, the plan is the same of the major team, with a sort of twin ship with others countries if they can be train them in the better way than here.

But this plan doesn't give advantages to Italy or others countries.
If there is a player who is potentially an NT player, but here he can't be trained in the better way, it more useful for the nation if he will train with a coach who can train him better than here.
And this is I wanna do.
I just wanna publish young players and see if there are coaches who want to train him in the skills that I will say for the player.
If we (New Zealand community) think that it could be good for the nation, the player can be sold.
The benefits are only for the New Zealand NT.
