Thanks. I think I was lucky to win this competition.
I am looking forward to be playing in premier again next season, hopefully it will give a little extra money and some more interesting games. With a goal score 101-2 and 16 shots against my team in a season it has been very boring.
I will not run for election as coach, I don't have the time to give as I think it will take to do a proper job.

One last thought about the Canada game ...
Perhaps a better question then why Hird was taking PKs, is why Hird, Kilkenny and Kelly were playing at all.
I thought Hird in adequete form offered more then Roza in brilliant form. Same for Kilkenny vs. Gilbert. Since both Hird and Kilkenny played awful, these turned out to be poor decisions. :)
The New Zealand team, with it's somewhat limited depth, is interesting challenge with respect to player selection. Some players (Kelly and Richards for example) are quite unique in what they offer. When their form tails off it is a tough decision whether to stick with them, or use another player with a markedly different skill set.

The final between Argentina and Chile was very good. Bore some striking similarities to the New Zealand - Chile match.
Chile once again pressed fairly hard - Argentina had even more off-sides then New Zealand the week before. :P Chile scored a couple of goals from wide crosses off throw-ins (again, like the New Zealand match). Chile won the game in extra time (also familiar :D). Felt a little sorry for Argentina - wasted a number of good chances. And because they ended up with a defensive midfielder playing striker for a good part of the game due to an injury.
It's some solace that the squad took the eventual cup winner to extra time before capitulating. :)
