Geez finding active managers for a friendly is like trying to crash a parked car.
Is there any friendly leagues or similar anyone Knows about?

I'm training defenders,
I get the idea that passing is an important skill in this game, or are all skills of equal value, any thoughts..

All skills are useful...but some work well in combo.

Single skills - keeper, defending, striker, pace and stamina make "instant" improvements to those players that you will see.

Passing, playmaking and technique are great skills but often need others to work well - i.e. great passing players also need playmaking so they make the right passes.

Generally you need players with multiple skills all the time.

I'm sure I've confused you now..

Please, this man here forestman is a very confusing man :) He's a special guest in NZ forums and he is very well experienced. His advice should therefore be taken unless proven too confusing to understand

I'd appreciate any advice... although I'm doing ok so far...

What do you guys do with the good YPs, train them if their skills fit in with you training... or sell them otherwise?

I am still recruiting my youths for training :) But chances of me getting a midfielder (what i train) are quite slim. I sell any youth with good skill away for a small amount of price :) Youths sell for quite a considerable amount, if they have a nice skill
