Subject: Match times

They used to be at 8.40-9am.

Reasons for having them early:

Before the large countries - Less chance of Delays.
Even if you cant watch them live - you can watch them as soon as you log on.

i might be contradicting myself but that aint bad

I've gone for early morning because it would then allow me to sell first team players during Sunday when most people are logged on, rather than having to keep them until wednesday and then rush around trying to find replacements when I should be working.

I take it that chicken is for a sunday roast, woppa ? I had no idea you had to kill your own food on the Isle of Man.

5pm? Gay time?

I think you will find that the Astoria opens at 11.00pm promptly - probably.

the time now is perfect for me.get home eat dinner, bath kids, put said kids to bed around 7:30ish leaves me about half an hour to go through my team(again)and make any last minute changes.

Early morning for the exact same reasons as the_goat

(Before the large countries - Less chance of Delays.)
(Even if you cant watch them live - you can watch them as soon as you log on. )

this makes a lot of sense ppl

Yeah early mornings for me aswell i use to enjoy watching games as soon as i got up and before i went to football.

Early mornings mean pretty much what ever time you get up on a sunday you can watch your game straight away and everyone can talk about results throughout sunday.

i like where they are. gives me more time to remember to set match orders, which is especially handy if I've been overseas and only arrive home sometime on sunday.

Also good if I go away for the weekend, say to see relatives, as generally I'm back by 8pm.

And baby is asleep.

8pm rocks!

Ditto.

I work till 6/7 then have time to get home, tinker if needed and watch the match live.

I've gone evenings, preferably around 6 just after the footie has finished, but just before the polish matches start.
2007-11-14 14:42:11
I went for early morning for similar reasons to the goat and NCN
2007-11-14 14:43:50
Ah, but if they are delayed, we'd stand the greatest chance of having the longest delay.

I've gone for early morning. I can't watch my matches live, it's agony! I always watch my matches on twice the speed.

Early morning games mean i can watch at whatever speed i wish, at any time.

Just keep it as it is. As far as i'm aware no one has been moaning about the match times so is this really an issue?
2007-11-14 18:03:15
Quite a lot of people have, especially when there are problems with the polish games etc, and heavy load on.
2007-11-14 18:10:55
they did when they first changed and then we got resigned to them never moving
