This game is NOT hattrick.
Training passing is better for midfielders than PM is. Ideally train them both, but if you train the one, train passing only rather than pm only. That is all.

I've editted it to reflect that.
Too many people are blindly training pm thinking it makes their midfielders better with nothing else. Once you get it up to about solid the difference is not too great.

I have balanced pm/passing players but pm doesn't seem to make too much difference between about adequate-solid whereas the difference in passing is noticeable.
Both. Once you get to a certain level of intelligence (which pm is), decisions made aren't vastly better.
oh - let me add sth :P
What is the real waste of training in Sokker ?
Training a player to divine playmaker with divine passing and formidable stamina :PPPP
If he's without technique and defending... he won't be able neither to dribble, nor to take the ball from the opponent.
If he's without pace... he won't be on time in any field of tactic.
Striking... actually is optional for a MID; if he has it - he may play offensively and get some chances to shoot, nothing more.

yep, I agree with everything.
But totally agree with passing, technique being more important than playmaking.

Only if tech is at a very high level otherwise I would put defending before it.
question: what´s the minimum acceptable level in PM for a MID?
(I mean, for me under very good they tend to keep the ball too long)

i read somewhere that you can see a noticeable difference when players get past weak.
Any stat below weak tends to be an achilese heel - if a player needs any secondary i like it to be at least weak :)
Tragic being a secondary that will be a real hinderence.
