Subject: England Users Number
In terms of community, it only takes a small amount of regular forum users to feel as if England in general is "buzzing".
Most of these guys have dropped off in terms of leaving completely or post much less. Just some names I can think of;
Redjim
Woppa
Ncn
Wdp
Daleg
Toonmac
Pilotfish(?)
Ken
Ecartman
Jpk
Steelers
There are loads more in the 5 years I've spent here.
Even ermejo and Phil are not that active here any more (and me).
You are the only one that has stuck around gibbage!

I think it is force of habit more than anything, especially when you have been doing something for 8 years!
I tend to reply / comment in active threads these days, but when there are no new posts there isn't going to be much to say!
417 now..
On a different note, I am in Norway at the moment and have just broken my personal record for most expensive beer - 40 pounds for a 33cl bottle. I think I´ll stop drinking now..

That's my kind of activity too.
For some reason we don't have anyone taking the bull by the horns and creating match threads and things like that.
I was kind of hoping for a bit more excitement in the Prem forum after I got promoted again, but it's not very active (I know I am a part of that stat).

well it only took a discussion about how dead the forums are to get some people posting again...
Pretty rubbish actually - some kind of barley wine at 17.2 %..
Then went to a greek restaurant next door and paid 50 pounds for some charcoal that was meant to be a mixed grill.
The 15 minute cab ride back home was another 40 quid. I think I need to get a job in the oil industry..

There is always a new load of Managers that have a lot to contribute to the forums
The problem in this game imo - appears to be that new or even very experienced LIII Managers are never encouraged by the top flight Managers (I assume they look at them as just a potential threat)
There is no mentor programme clearly available - & all the top Managers appear to want to keep the ‘dark secrets’ of tactics to themselves
Leagues I & II sadly are the only Managers taken seriously in England - why that is just within the Sokker game is sad
I play a whole host of on-line sports Management games (several as NT Coach) - but it is only Sokker where I was glad to get out of NT Coaching, as the lack of true support was totally overwhelming (with the odd exception)
Sokker England needs some new fresh thinking – starting with total support for the freely elected NT Coaches, & positive encouragement on the boards for everyone
It's no use looking back & saying “the 1st up easy rich Clubs are not there anymore” - everyone (especially the top League Managers) need to look for the next active generation of Managers, & give them all the advice they need to be successful & honestly enjoy the game
I have said before (but shouted down by a few top Managers) - that Sokker England needs the grass roots Managers to be happy & successful - or all you guys at the top will find the game not so enjoyable in the future
It's live & learn time tbh
PS – I know my post has a bit of the ‘Devils advocate’ about it – but I do mean it to just try & support Sokker England & it’s successful future
As I have said before – the trend for England (maybe overall Sokker) continues to look pretty Grimm, but it could change

To show it's a wider issue. Sokker spent much of 2010 and early 2011 with between 65,000 and 75,000 users.
We've been hovering nearer to 50,000 during 2012.
We've been hovering nearer to 50,000 during 2012.
Anaconda (Rmanian well known user) just quit the game... and also couple of other "heavy" Romanian users... so yes, the trend is more general...
A season or so ago when the match engine was changed I lost all interest in watching my matches. The games just become really dull.
Once that enthusiasm has gone its hard to get it back.
Once that enthusiasm has gone its hard to get it back.
Amount of posts in international is also dramatically down with few new faces appearing but a fair few old ones disappearing.
I actually stopped watching matches before the 3D thing. Find it just as easy to see the results, but I've not done anything other than set up lineups all season anyway.
That's been my tactics since about 2008 ;)
I watched the 3D viewer for the 1st time this season this week. Hate it. Much prefer 2D - really hard to see what is happening as it pans around.
