Which day of the week would you say is best to sell your player?

Many would say that the deadline should be sunday evening, as thats when most ppl are online

Others may argue that they are online Sunday to focus on their match rather than transfers, and that Thursday would be a good day to have a deadline as ppl come on to check their training progress...

what do you think?

In my experience Monday - Thursday is he best time to sell and aim for the evenings as more people will be online. But on Friday - Saturday, more people might not be online so you might not sell your players for a lot, but it is the a great time to buy cheap players. And on Sunday, I dont know.

If the servers work sunday night.

However about 1 year ago I lost maybe £1m by the servers turning to tar on a Sunday night and no-one being able to bid up my player

wow that must have been frustrating!

i'd say either sunday just after the polish leagues games, or on thursday around 6-7:00pm when a lot of people will get home and check their trainings.

Huh.. right after?
I would rather say that before - people often look for replacement for injured/red card'ed players - so that would be Saturday evening, or even SUnday noon or early afternoon.

I always list around 7pm on Friday, so they finish just before the league games start on Sunday.

I sell players on Friday around 6pm

Interestingly, over all the days, nobody has chosen Wendesday, when cup/friendly games are played.

i sell on monday evening

Seems a bit of an odd one? Nothing really happening on a Monday, just paid their wages?

no one would sell on a wednesday, as you don't know what might happen with the thursday morning pops... you could get a random or 2 even if they are not in your training program. why give the buyer the benefit of the weeks training when on thursday the price would go up accordingly

Good point, don't see how it's better than Monday or Tuesday on that premise though.

A lot of juniors sell early in the week to enable the buyer to play them in the friendly.
2008-04-30 19:44:49
I understand that, but doesn't that kinda conflict dylan's point?

not really - the timing is the thing. if you buy in plenty of time to put into friendly line-up - e.g. tuesday - then its fine, but buy on a wenesday leaves it a bit tight. plus there is the psychology of knowing that the player might pop the very next morning so less likely to want to sell
