Subject: »[JNRS] Juniors - formidable +

Compared to my current and only keeper, he is:

-8 stamina and age
+1 keeper
-2 pace
+1 passing

Does he have enough stamina for a first team keeper? I have heard that stamina doesn't matter for that position?
2008-10-23 16:23:34
are you training pace?
2008-10-23 16:27:34
No tech
2008-10-23 16:31:53
then maybe you should sell him and buy a formidable keeper instead.
2008-10-23 16:35:56
Older, with lower pace and better stamina you mean? How much is he worth then?
2008-10-23 18:08:08
£500k+?
2008-10-23 18:38:00
aye. stamina not that necessary in a keeper versus wage rise it causes, however I'd also advise you to sell him and buy a nice, cheap older boy.

You should get £600k+ for him, I just paid £500k for an excellent 22yr old....

But then again, I am a damned idiot when it comes to buying players, And thanks to all who have let me know via forums, sk-mails and all :)

:o) OK, cheers you two. I had no idea he'd be worth quite that much.
2008-10-23 22:34:03
ok what about me for suggesting it?
2008-10-24 00:13:48
What about you? I said cheers to you both!

In this thread I can see many players being given a numerical value for talent. How does one relate it to skills?
2008-10-24 08:35:01
shhh!! Leaves quitely to avoid embaresment, too late
2008-10-24 09:38:05
You mean say 4 week talent? It doesn't strictly relate to skills, but the more talented they are the more likely they will have popped more in the youth school and so will promote with higher skills. Is this what you mean?
2008-10-24 10:00:06
And it also means that when you train them they will pop quicker, so are a better investment than unknown talent/bad talent.
2008-10-24 10:23:45
i.e. every 4 weeks they went up a level when in the youth school they would have 4 week talent.

Complexity is that the pop-rate depends on talent & the quality of your youth coach!

I think you mean these...
Future ATT England
Future MID England
Future DEF England

The way the scores are calculated are explained at the start of each thread.
