A formidabe pull. I think this is a genuine Formidable but can't tell until I get home......

A nice pull! Talent was good and I will link the graph later, it was under 4 anyway. Will be sold as I think he needs a mid trainer which isn't me.

This new system has really complicated the levels of the youths big time, kind of now really hard to understand, i had a guy go down a level then up 3 levels. i mean does my unearthly guy wear glasses and first time around he forgot to put them on or something.
2009-12-17 11:21:30
Things will even out more once they can see them play.....I have said this a few times now. ;)
2009-12-17 11:25:06
I took screenshots of all my decent youths before the recent changes, as I have a magical and brilliant due in the next few weeks.
Maybe when we do get to start playing youth friendlies the variations will be less extreme, but as it stands a three level pop in one week, albeit only one level out in reality, seems quite random. And that is from an Unearthly.
2009-12-17 11:26:08
Hes not using his Unearthly ability yet though is he?? Next week once you play we should start to see some more accurate opinions. ;)
2009-12-17 11:55:06
As i understand it, you will have to keep a youth for the duration to have any idea on their talent. By the end, the coaches guess will be quite accurate, and you'll have to just average the pops out. No way of ever knowing any real talent on 16yo's though :-( the accuracy the coaches will give thru games is a wait and see thing.
2009-12-17 12:07:50
I wonder if coaches will have memories. If I play a guy for the first 10 weeks of his time in the YS, but not for the last 10, will the coach still be accurate at the end, or is a coach's ability to assess talent only based on the most recent X number of games?

skeels is a nice one :)
2009-12-31 14:59:39
What do you train? Skeels does need a defence trainer imo andf could make the u21 squad with the right training. ;)
2009-12-31 17:21:41
Mid Tech normally. I'm willing to sell if need be, unsure what kinda price though? Dont want to be too greedy it's nearly new year!

Btw Billy Skeels is the player that I played up front in our junior match on Tuesday, he scored 3 goals in 2 games.

I'm working tonight until 4am so I will check this post upon my return in 2010.

Happy new year to you.
2009-12-31 17:51:49
There are defender trainers who I am sure would be interested in your guy, especially as he has decent enough secondaries too. ;)
