I'm not convinced marks in junior games give any indication of what player skills might be. It's almost like when they become main team players their skills are regenerated.

You maybe right, I have no idea. I am disappointed in him but I will train him as the tech should rise fairly quickly.

Let's hope he's a superstar (pace +1 after one week). But it is nice to have a goalkeeper coming out of the academy. I had one millions of years ago, he made it to the NT back then. I can't tell if I was unlucky, I've had a few good ones, one is mentioned quite often these days (Shea Barnes). I remember at some point I was in the Premier playing with two strikers (Macleod and Bergkamp) from my own academy. But you can see a better picture across all clubs and now I'm a bit gutted to read that I am at the bottom of the luck league.

Outstanding pull. WDP's trick of pulling the better junior second failed me.. switching tech and passing would have been nice.

As I said before it's probably just coincidence anyway.......it's has seemed to work for me in the past. I have 3 due in a few weeks, none are great quality or level unfortunately.

the skills are already decided before the pulling, you can "see" them in youth school matches

there was a bug years ago where you could sometimes pull same youth twice (due to server issues) and both ended up as "clones"

I have my superstitions, don't destroy them with logic ;)

I can’t complain, I’ve been fairly lucky with some of my pulls recently. I have a few in the JS with decent potential coming in a month or so. Fingers crossed I get another couple to add to my new group of trainees given I’m pretty much done training existing first team players now.
