Subject: Future Star Pulls

2009-02-05 16:42:27
he will love that fellow, future england number 1 maybe? but you are selling him, he will go for at least 1 million i think
2009-02-05 17:00:35
I will only sell him to someone who is training keeper so England can benefit... he is better than the old solid keeper I have presently.
2009-02-05 17:04:56
excellent and 17 is great, but hopeless pace and passing might prevent him becoming the number 1. Well worth tracking him though, to see how he gets on.
2009-02-05 22:18:28
1 million?

i reckon 250k max, willing to open the game at 150k and up his pace as i have a better set of coaches and we may need him for the U21 considering the keepers we have at the moment, 2 seasons of make will make him a decent 19yo
2009-02-05 22:45:34
My valuation for him is approx £300k.
2009-02-05 22:47:02
I'd say more than that... He is only 17 after all
2009-02-05 22:48:46
He is too weak on the other skills, 16yo excellent keeper's normally sell for about £600k.
2009-02-05 22:51:52
ahh... yer, he could do with being a litttle quicker
2009-02-12 10:17:21
Early days I know, but I have the following guy in juniors who's popped 1*,3,3, so far...

Wally Widdup / Busby's Babes / Solid / 3.0 / Unearthly+0 / 30th June 2009
2009-02-12 10:41:37
Kyle Devlin, age: 20
value: 70 950 £, wage: 930 £
club: Stourport Stormers, country: England
very good form, tragic tactical discipline

average stamina, hopeless keeper
solid pace, unsatisfactory defender
excellent technique, solid playmaker
tragic passing, adequate striker

Well, my 'magical' youth ended up as only 'brilliant' :(
Not too bad, bit old.... what do we think?
2009-02-12 10:49:01
Really poor i'm afraid, unlucky.
2009-02-12 11:16:22
bad luck
2009-02-12 11:18:10
I thought so too... I'm gonna do my very best to train him as a striker
2009-02-17 07:45:20
Just a thought... no point in having "current level" as it needs to be updated too often, and is fairly meaningless anyway. Much more useful would be to have:
NAME/CLUB/PREDICTED LEVEL/TALENT/YOUTH COACH LEVEL and the graduation date.
Without knowing the YC level the talent is not very indicative. 4.5wks with an Unearthly coach is ok but not that special, whereas with a Formidable coach it would be. My youth is a 3.1wk popper with Magical YC, which probably translates as maximum talent.

Week Twelve - 09/04/09
Fred Rivers - Buddha's Boots - Magical+2 - 3.1 - Magical YC

Thats a good idea, I will update it later.
2009-02-17 17:28:30
John Mohun/DLR Reserves/Incredible/4 week talent/Excellent YC/26.02.09
Leroy Gerry/DLR Reserves/Brilliant +1/4 week talent/ Excellent YC/07.05.09
Chris Ingle/DLR Reserves/Incredible +2/4.33 week talent/Excellent YC/21.05.09
Mahmood Reeman/DLR Reserves/Outstanding +3/4.1 week talent/Excellent YC/04.06.09

I will update any others that show a good talent accordingly. I have a nice few prospects that haven't popped twice yet so their talent is somewhat unknown at this stage.

Good thread btw.
