I had a 20 year old brilliant once....

I don't regard my youth squad as source of strength for my team

I haven't actually had much luck, but I do now have a really decent trainee at last in Coatsworth. He was massively unexpected though as only a solid pull, just had great age and talent on his side. I did have a Magical. but he was virtually 21 and not that great to be honest.

Dudley Inns
and
Oliver Hagger
have turned out OK despite being excellent and outstanding. Talent is often more important

but 1 player every 5 seasons doesn't seem a good return

Ron Widdop incredible 9 - been popping 3 and 4 weeks - 3.6 talent but will get exact numbers when he comes out, hopefully he will be a good un.

You are right there, every 5 seasons is not a great return at all. :(
