Subject: Future Star Pulls
This is where i don't know if mathematics comes in to play or Sokker's wonderful talent calculations, or even if they are the same thing (sub levels?).
As i understand it - and please correct me wrong for those who have the experience - a player who pops 3-3 and then 4, will have to then pop in 3 weeks twice again before popping in 4, continuing the cycle.
I am starting to think Vilpu may be right, because i thought the length of the first 3 pop determines talent, so in this case (just one 3 pop = 3.5~ talent).
I am also basing this on players in my youth school, 2 of which popped in 3 weeks in their first full pop, but have then gone 4-4; the next 3 pop will close the cycle and that will continue, am i right?

I dont really know much about talent ranges but the maths say 3.33.
Unless I have counted wrongly!

He can have a talent greater than 3.5, its possible.
I can do an example to show the extremes.....

I can see the arguments both ways.
Maths ways he is 3.33 but that not a true representation as he has only been around for 10 weeks. Logically his next could easily be 4 weeks again.
@ phil - I do not see how it can be more than 3.5 unless he had a 5 week pop next which I'd see as impossible? Can you show me what you mean as I do not understand how it could be 3.6 at all?
Had the first 3 week pop not been a full pop I would see your point, but it was.....

I totally agree. And from my experience that more likely to happen.
Anyway I have created the same thread to Sokker International, it will never end..lol

LOL it won't and the next time I try and update this thread I'll have to search like mad. :)
Can his next pop be 4 weeks though? Nobody answered my other post above?

That`s what I think. I think there`s a bigger chance for 4 week pop to be the next than a 3 - much bigger.

Right so lets say the player started on 6.99 when he first came into the junior school.
If his talent was 3.6 he will gain *roughly* 0.28 levels per week. So the graph would go (The limit is about 3.66 talent):
6.99 7.27 7.55 7.83 8.11 8.39 8.67 8.95 9.23 9.51 9.79 10.07

I disagree, because of the trends in other youth pulls.

I agree that the next popcould more easily be 4 weeks than 3 weeks, thats based on my experience with my own youths only.
I have a Magical coming next season who is exactly 3.5, his pops have been 3,4,3,4,3,4,3,4 so far.

I like the 2 posts above mine...one agrees, other not:)

Even a four week pop next wouldn't prove he is 3.5 talent. it would just narrow the possible range to around 3.4-3.6, so its fair to approx 3.5 but not a fact :P
I'm sorry, i've got confused. Thought his last pop was a 4. I too think his next pop will be 4 :o)
Thats an interesting way of looking at it, but surely 6.99 is a strange sublevel to start with? Not saying you are wrong at all, just looks odd to me.
It is much a bigger chance but stating his talent to be 3.5 is basically saying it is certain.
That isn't fair as you might be underselling the player. he might pop 3433333 - insisting on assuming the worst case is a bit rude really.
You can assume what you like when you go shopping but telling someone their potentially 3.333 player MUST be called 3.5 is...
