A new user I have invited wants to know when he'll be able to buy players, he still has a dummy Icon next to his name [not an active user]

I spent quite a few days unapproved, it was not great. I could not post so no one could hear me scream and after 4 days of logging on and checking I used the contact us form and within hours was approved.

However, most people are not going to do that so what is the procedure and who does what and is there anyway we can help speed the process up?

I wonder If users can mail new users, we could ask them to do as you did, means keeping an eye on lower ranked teams a lot, I do but normally once a week or every 2 weeks.

Yes that would help. They also need to be told where the form is! I knew it existed but it was not an easy find.

If we are low in number then we need to look after any new ones. I read the posts from the hattrick player in the newbie thread and thought such a shame he has del next to his name so soon after posting.

I have no idea why it takes so long for people to get approved. I mean its hardly a CRB check!

Since i do approval in England delay is no more than 2 days . Only teams with common logs are on hold but overall all cases are handled fast

I add nothis as promoter but this can be done from anyone

I try and offer my help to all new users, tell them ways to get the most fun out of it, also trying to get more users via twitter.

I am seeing if Gkimber will open a twitter page for us again, he did so well with it last time, had replays of our international goals etc :)
I would do all the link the page to the footballer manager followers on twitter.

By determining which ones are living in England first.... surely we'd get some more, I pretty much came from that game myself.
