Its just unlucky.

I have had loads of juniors for quite a while, but thats about to change...

16 are due in the next 5 weeks!!!

16 :o how do you filter your juniors? i go to international forums and there are users pulling some pukka juniors. it is jealousy i admit! my first magical was poor aswell. considering they don't come often, it is a kick in the balls, when they turn out crap. i have been reading into junior talents and other things lately. it would seem sokker, is based on alot of numbers and equations. so i just assumed juniors must be done, by some form of process.

I tend to cut anyone who enter the school as less than weak, and then get stricter as the season progresses and the YP's are likely to age very soon.

I rarely have over 16 youths to be honest, and most of those I am waiting for the 2nd pop on. Its just luck really at the end of the day.

I NEVER HAD A magical all my decent youths have been lol level 16-17 with great talent but that was a long time ago they all 27 now

never had better than brilliant

currently have 14, I think I nearly had 30 once but under 20 is normal

Same here, one Brilliant, 20yo. I've trained plenty of Outstandings to make some cash.

In my experience it's the pulls around outstanding/incredibe with the right age that are the best prospects. My highest youth pull is only incredible, bensted was just an outstanding pull. Currently have 16 juniors in the school, and i know the talent on just 5 of those.

I agree youth (and talent) are usually more important than skills and the highest level pulls struggle to avoid being 20 and to have wastage on keeper/stamina so incredible does appear a sweet spot.

However, when they do get it right they are awesome

I do it a bit different. I keep everyone unless I need to make space. Then I cut a waster or two. My youth school never goes below 24 spaces full. 18k a week is bugger all and I view it as a necessary expense.

do any of your tragics ever turn out to be worth it?
2009-01-12 12:18:03
Only once, I think, in the dim and distant, but they generally get pruned out after the thursday updates, as I try and prune down to 24 each week.

I may reform my process

I generally kill the poor or less immediately - it would cost little to keep them and see

except the extra brain power to check and get rid of them later

The two most talented juniors I've ever had started as Poor 34, Jebson and Hopeless 34, Pow.

I am convinced
2009-01-12 13:22:36
I dread to think what talent I've binned in the past. The skill sets are not going to be great compared to Divine/Unearthly/Magical juniors, just need some luck as always with age and skills.
