I'd say you're about right

same here mate! im bombing everything into my junior school. on a all or nothing attempt. atm it is paying off nothing and costing a fortune. hopefully that will change!

im spending over 400k a season on my junior school..
23k a week on magical coach
20+ juniors a week = 12k
35k a week x 14

hard to see if its worth if .. but i do have 3 brilliant coming this season 1 of them should get my money back.. unless i keep them

had a magical junior last season sold for 800k so theres 2 seasons of funding

thats what my goal is, to produce high quality players, but if their wages are above 1,500 i cant afford to keep them, they will be too big to waste in a team like mine, so i plan to sell them and get some dough!

you also need to think about that 3% sell on money before players are 24

definitely some nice players there mate!

For me it was a big mistake sacking the old yc, with players like that coming through just 2 of them could make you enough to pay for his salary....potentially even one only.

i agree with wdp... would have risked a season in the red and raked in the cash from the sales
2009-02-09 13:16:32
I wish my YA looked half as good as that, I have a damned expensive coach too. :/

Your comments are most welcome and appreciated. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, still very rusty at this game and I dont seem to be learning from my previous mistakes. I can see that it would be beneficial to keep the old incredible YC. I get too worried about bankruptcy, nearly cost me the game a couple of seasons back. I'm now £140k in debt but im hopeful that one of these youth products will help me out financially.

I've increased my stadium by another 1800 so again im hoping for sell-outs during the league campaign. I need to curb my spending and now im in a position whereby I can look at a two week financial report. I believe that with a sell-out I will break about even on a two week period.

As long as i stay below the 300k limit I can plan for the future. My division seems a really poor level but Im not ready for DivIII yet.
