I'd be tempted to start pace training as soon as he hits the 6th decent trainee.

That would be wise, perhaps even earlier.

it all depends on skill distrubution. pace is always a good thing in div3 on survival though. i survived just on pace when i promoted, saying that my defense still just survives on pace lol

There are very few youths that do not need pace when they are promoted.
2009-02-13 16:51:37
unless they are promoted excellent in pace.

Joined the junior school as average 2, promoted as average+2 (i have a graph):

Robbie Pratley, age: 16
club: Armitage Shanks, country: England
value: 8 550 £, wage: 300 £
very good form, tragic tactical discipline

unsatisfactory stamina tragic keeper
poor pace tragic defender
weak technique weak playmaker
hopeless passing poor striker

About as good as he could be, will probably sell for a few quid, though may keep to check talent.

Aye should get a few pennies for him! if your lucky it might be around the 200k mark :)
2009-02-13 19:27:05
I doubt that very much but we'll see.
2009-02-13 19:27:35
i dunno 16yo's are going at a nice rate atm
2009-02-13 19:29:30
This one was pulled in Israel recently, and is valued at anywhere between 3 and 7m euros:

Eli Shabu, age: 16

club: Mozilla Force, country: Israel
value: 208 500 ₪, wage: 4 050 ₪
very good form, tragic tactical discipline

tragic stamina tragic keeper
average pace hopeless defender
good technique poor playmaker
tragic passing average striker

He is a lot better!

pfftt.... i wouldn't touch a 16yo at that price. proven talent or not, mainly because i don't have the patience to train someone that long and he could be outclassed, at 17/18 with a nice magical pull or something like that. Israel is advancing fast, they know how to play the game over there.

Yadda yadda...anyway, he's listed.
2009-02-13 19:50:06
If he had 3 week talent then he could become an absolute star and worth far more in the future.
2009-02-13 19:52:37
Plus he popped like this from good: --/- i think it was. It can't be any worse than 4~!
2009-02-13 20:25:01
err..

if he came in good 4 and popped to solid --/- he could be anything from 3 week talent to 20+

Total gamble, the fun of buying 16. I don't regret my two attempts though
2009-02-13 20:36:26
Apparently there are no sub levels on junior higher than good, so if he popped to solid in 3 weeks he can't be 20+.
