I've got some older youths that were shunned while I trained ATTs, I'll probably have a clear out. Benn meaning to for weeks, I've got a room like my squad at home. Can't move for clutter.
He's not even a III series trainee, sell him.
I'll have a clear out some time tomorrow and hope to catch some stupid people on Sunday.

Cheers for the valuation.

Which do you think'll get me more cash - flogging him now or hanging on until the start of next season? (I'm training striker the rest of this...)

He's got to be worth more as an 18 year old with average/average/solid than now. With a random pop, some nice looking talent proof and some adverts you might get a nice price.

Question is what are you giving up to train him - who is in that slot now and will he earn more?
2009-03-05 11:40:28
Good point and thanks - hadn't looked at it that way!

Got two 23yo's who aren't going to improve much more... could jettison one of them.
2009-03-05 11:43:28
23 seems a good time to sell, someone else might want to train them further and therefore pay more - this becomes increasingly unlikely over that age

Right, the week of the three juniors is here! I shall post as I pull:

Adequate, no idea of talent:

William Finney, age: 17
club: Bossanove, country: England
value: 14 850 £, wage: 345 £
very good form, tragic tactical discipline

unsatisfactory stamina hopeless keeper
hopeless pace adequate defender
average technique
poor playmaker
hopeless passing weak striker

Not horrendous! NEXT! A very good, talent 4.6:

Lenny Guppy , age: 18
club: Bossanove, country: England
value: 42 750 £, wage: 660 £
very good form, tragic tactical discipline

hopeless stamina tragic keeper
good pace poor defender
unsatisfactory technique excellent playmaker
hopeless passing unsatisfactory striker

Nice secondaries, shame about the primaries. NEXT! Formidable, talent 4.5:

Mike Rogerson, age: 19
club: Bossanove, country: England
value: 31 950 £, wage: 525 £
very good form, tragic tactical discipline

adequate stamina hopeless keeper
tragic pace weak defender
weak technique good playmaker
hopeless passing good striker

Nice primary, shame about the age! Ah well, what do you all think then?
2009-03-05 16:17:40
rubbish!

you were unlucky in particular that a formidable is that poor
2009-03-05 16:30:07
Ah well.

Got an outstanding coming in 4 weeks mind, might even pop again by then!
2009-03-05 16:37:35
outstanding/incredible seems a good place - but then I never get better than that
2009-03-05 16:43:04
I've never had better than incredible, and i'm not too fussed about it either. I'd rather a very talented 17y incredible than higher level pulls that can only be 18.
2009-03-05 17:10:13
Outstanding pull with 5 weeks talent. Keeping him.

Jake Neill, age: 18

club: AFC Denton Sharks, country: England
value: 65 250 £, wage: 885 £
very good form, tragic tactical discipline

average stamina hopeless keeper
excellent pace very good defender
unsatisfactory technique unsatisfactory playmaker
weak passing average striker
2009-03-05 17:14:19
Not bad! You've sneaked in under the radar ken!
