my JC is only Magical, but i've also noticed a real improvement in talent since upgrading from my old incredible JC.
Never even had a 4.0 talent junior before switch, let alone sub 4 talent. Already produced 3 sub 4 talents since switch and I've currently got these in JS:

Alvin Chettle - adequate - 4 - 16yo?
Bill Christopher - solid - 5 - 16yo?
Wally Widdup - incredible - 6
Wes Hateley - excellent - 9
Bruce Seaton - average - 9 - 16yo?
Taylor Strickland - very good - 10
Lucas Whiteley - adequate - 12
Troy Frisby - average - 12
Matt Samuel - solid - 13
Anwar Rivett - solid - 14
Dominic Astall - adequate - 14
Liam Laverack - good - 15
Charlie Goldstone - adequate - 15
Oswald Deane - adequate - 18
Joe Bellows - solid - 20
Pete Burkill - adequate - 21
Trevor Brindle - adequate - 25
Ernest Wilmer - good - 27
Jamie Colcheeper - good - 30
Justin Cundall - adequate - 30

BOLD = sub 4 talent

just need one of them to be min age and nice distribution!

Its great, the more coaches England has like that, then the more decent youths we get to train hopefully.
2009-06-19 11:59:03
Of course as a general rule of thumb you are going to get better talents with a better coach but it has not worked that way for me. I've not had anyone with the same talent as bensted since, which is 4 seasons. I've had 2 or 3 players since that have had a 3 week pop but never 2 in a row. I have a magical coach now.
2009-06-19 16:19:10
I'd have thought the talent is exactly the same whatever the coach - they just pop quicker so you get more skill from them
2009-06-19 16:59:00
The talent is the same yes, but it looks better or worse dependent upon coach. What i mean is if i kept my formidable coach from 4 seasons ago i wouldn't have had 1 player with a 3 pop.
2009-06-19 17:16:35
Just imagine though, Bensted would have been even better had you got him when you had a better coach..... ;)
