My player Sebastian Benning has now popped 6 weeks in a row at 3 weeks so a talent of 3.0 :) mega talented :) promotable in a few weeks time :)
Oh dear I thought that bug had been fixed. :(
you mean the bug where the whole youth talent system has been completely screwed up for the sake of a completely meaningless tuesday youth match? the bug where having more than 11 youths means you're screwed when it comes to assessing talent because they have to play for any hope even of accuracy?
i think you'll find that's not actually considered a bug :(

Not really as most do not have many more than 11 players anyway, use your subs and they all get to play. That way you can get a decent assessment. I also disagree, I think we can learn a fair bit from the youth matches about the skills of the players coming through. ;)
I'm with dylanos on this one.
I have 23 juniors, and some of them used to be very talented... before the 'enhancement' ;)
Even with 3 subs, it is doubtful that I can play all of them often enough, and in the 3 outfield positions, to identify much useful about them, or let my coach accurately assess their talent. And certainly not whilst keeping 6 spaces open for new recruits.
Let's face it, the whole point of the junior school changes was not to enhance the game, but rather to make juniors a lottery again. So forcing teams to train their own juniors to prove talent.

I disagree as you can easily prove the talent. I have a graph for my players still, and now that games have been played it seems that things will be more accurate from now on.
Brent Twinn, age: 18

how the hell do we tell talent now, my players graphs are all over the shop. Some players have gone down and up and down in skill...one player went up 2 lvls today...I am well confused!
@ wdp74
It'd be easier if you're right, but looking at my players' graphs I'm not optimistic! :(
What happens if I switch and play 11 juniors next week that I didn't play this week... does this mean that the talent graphs will go to shit again for the 11 who played this week, but who'll be missing out next week?
Reading the front page blurb on the changes, it does imply that (because I have more than 11 juniors) my coach's talent assessment will be less accurate... Also, the more matches your junior plays, the more adequately the coach knows his total skill and shows it to you.

Your guys played their first games so therefore hopefully you have a more realistic level for their current talent / skill?
I think at the end of the day once you average the pops and time in school you can get a talent reading anyway.
Another point which people are failing to recognise is the actual savings people will make from not keeping and 18 yr old 13 or 14 at the start of the season with the vain hope of them being 16.
