I had a excellent which went straight out - he had v.good stam - i think - and nothing elsewhere, and was 18.

You would have been wrong. The highest stamina can be when pulled is good :o)

Yeah thats seriously tough luck, though I think good stamina is as bad as it can get. Still...

I usually keep juniors with possible excellent endlevel, if they are max 17y or gk. Older ones just need to be too lucky with skill distribution to be worth something at all.
