I've had garbage for seasons, but it's got worse since the junior change as my strict criteria got even more strict as I don't keep juniors that could be high value if they're max age.

You have played the game very similar to me mattius (and how all new starts should play IMO) which is base your whole team around your own junior pulls.

Unfortunately, as your team improves, you will find it harder and harder to do that.

yeah, im afraid you are right.. ive actually been very lucky in the past getting like 2-3 nice juniors worth training up per season, ive kept 6 spaces open each week to hope i get lucky... maybe the system has changed so significantly where for example a 'poor' 16 year old first comes to the team, i decide to get rid and free up space, but turns out after laying a junior game the coach decides he is 'Average'. i want the old system back so then you have a good indication of talent and you know what you are getting..

He must have some sort of decent talent so, is he worth keeping to train as he could look half decent by 21 or just get rid?

If you can give him enough pace keep him.

Is that 20 weeks in school? Remember, even the starting skill is an estimation. If you up that by 2 his talent is closer to 4.
