Just had a junior in the school drop from level 8 to "poor". Why would this happen, and how can I stop it happening again?

Did you forget to set your junior coach? If not, what level is your junior coach?

Average. He was just one of the ones you get assigned when you start.

Might be worth sacking and going for around v good - excellent. Shouldn't cost much more in wages (depending on the costs of the average of course).

junior coaches estimate the player levels. it gets better the more games that are played and the higher the level of the coach, so with low skill coaches and players with few / no games you can get big changes in perceived skill. The actual skill is different and slowly increasing....
