Yup he was a legend. My fav comedian of all time...

You could kind of see his point though, his jokes are all borne of frustration - most of the major doctrines of government, religion, etc are all basically wrong, even if they are the best we currently have. He'd just look at it and go, this isn't for me. And people would laugh and go, yeah actually, you're right. He didn't offer anything different, but then that's not a comedians job.

He made you think and he was so quick with dealing with the audience. And his coverage of the first gulf war gets me every time. The gun people, the bible bashers and the smoking, drugs, etc so cool. I will have to dig out a dvd or two soon

Shame he died so young!

Who is as good at social commentary as he was now?

nobody really, maybe michael moore, but he doesn't have the instant humourous appeal. hicks was kind of a one off i guess.

could someone with working osokker please tell me where to download it from or email it to me and on which browser so i can uninstall everything including browser history and browser itself and try a full fresh restart as its driven me mad trying every browser and every osokker with zero results.....somebody must have it working, i use that more than the stuff i pay for on here.....many thanks
