The trouble with Londoners is that you don't notice piddling small amounts of money any more. 3 months plus probably looks the same to you as 12 months plus in monetary terms, as you're used to such big numbers. 12 months plus only buys 3 pints of beer in London these days.
That is probably why we Londoners support you provincials to such high degree financially.
