We have also managed to climb from 36th rank at the start of the season to 22nd.

...correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't you the only U21 manager England has ever had. So it was under your stewardship that we plummeted to 36th in the first place :)

All of the above is true I cannot deny it. We did have unfavourable draws so far. ;P

how do you explain Scotland getting to a lower ranking than England when you have a much higher userbase :D Sorry couldnt resist

It was for a short time only when England was lower than Scotland.....whilst I played 20 and 19 yr olds all season....thats the main reason anyway. Given the relative strength of groups we have had over the 2 World Cup Qualifying campaigns though Scotland have had it easier and still did not qualifiy this time.

Scotland has a reasonable set of players to choose from in reality compared to user base. Even teams such as Singapore with just 34 users qualified, so depending on the group it is possible. I feel Scotland should have qualified this time around. :p
