So, about time i stood for an election some might say (nobody has said that, but it might sound good if i pretend they did). Well, remain disappointed as i'm not standing this time either. I just thought it'd be funny to see wd40's face when he saw the title. Then i remembered i can't see his face so the point was lost.

My face probably would have suprised you, I would like somebody like yourself to have a go at this job. Specifically next season though - I really do want a high calibre manager to run for this job either this season or next. I do regard you as a high calibre manager as I did with DanVan who stood against me originally.

This job is ideal to learn the role, and we should have more than one person stand, especially next season I expect to see a lot of good candidates run for election.....we do have a lot of good managers....and I mean that. ;)

The discussion thread really doesn't allow for conversational dialogue. Get rid - it's not how people communicate - as can be seen on nearly every election thread so far.

no the general election thread should be used for general questions of each other and general banter. Putting mindless drivvle comments in here will hide the candidates answers to what are serious questions of their candiditure.

ah. I don't think we need to worry too much, at least not until the serious candidates get here ;)...

i think it keeps us neutral and it also possibly puts an interest back in the elections which were dying after day 3.

they are dying because wdp74 is everyone's choice - you qualify you get to go for the cup. simple.
